Peacefully on Sunday, February 20, 2011 William M. Thompson went home to be with Lord. Family and friends will unite on Monday, February 28 from 10 am until time of service 11 a.m. at Union Temple Baptist Church 1225 W. Street S.E. Washington, DC. Interment will follow at Heritage Cemetery.
Daddy I’m going to miss you truly, but you’re in a better place,no more pain or suffering. I’m not going to say goodbye because I know one day we will meet again and the second time around is the best of them all. I want to say to my siblings, my God continue to bless us all and to LOVE one another, that’s what daddy would want for us. His sickness bought us together as a whole and I thank him for that.
