Peacefully on Monday, January 30, 2017, Walter Laird, Jr. went home to be with the Lord. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Viola Laird; seven children, Marilyn Watkins, Kevin Jackson, Anita Laird, Joseph Laird, Milton Nelson, Myra Laird and Natasha Laird; a sister, Florine Betts, and a host of other relatives. Friends may unite with the family on Friday, February 10 from 11:00 am until time of service 12:30 pm at Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home located at 2294 Old Washington Road in Waldorf, MD. Interment Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery.
Sista and Family. I am so sorry to hear of Larry’s passing. He was a force to be reckoned with! Loved to laugh and have a great time. That’s what I will always remember. Praying for your strength through this rough time. Love you all.
