Virginia passed away peacefully on Friday, August 26, 2016. She was born on March 7, 1937 in Kenbridge, VA to the late Richard and Sally Smith. She was the beloved wife of William Bernard Young, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Angela M. McRae (Tim); three grandchildren; William, Porter, and Isabella; her sister, Rebecca Smith Scriber (Robert); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, September 1 with a visitation from 9:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 3310 St Peters Dr, Waldorf, MD 20601..
