Peacefully on May 1, 2014 Vernard K. Adams departed this earthly life. He is survived by his daughters, Tiana T. Fowler and Vernita R. Adams; sons, Vernard Keith Adams Jr. and Elvin Carter; granddaughters, Shakhia, Laniyah, Zion and Zoey; nephews, Anthony F. Adams and Andre Perry; nieces, Whitney S. Perry, Ruby S. Telsee, and Briana Perry; one brother in-law, Stanley Perry and a host of other relatives. Family and friends will unite on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home, 2294 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, MD from 10:00 am until time of service 11:00am. Interment will be private.
