
Thomas Allen Butler, 64, of Waldorf, Maryland entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 4, 2012. Thomas was born on December 28, 1947 in Hughesville, Maryland to the late Mary Elizabeth Butler and Joseph Butler. Thomas was educated in the Charles County Public Schools.
Thomas owned and operated, Happy Transportation, his very own transportation business for more than 30 years. He was employed with the Charles County Parks and Recreation for over 35 years. Thomas was an avid Redskins fan. Thomas loved spending time with his family and friends, listening to music, dancing, playing bingo, traveling, bowling and planning and hosting Cabarets.
He is the beloved father of Melissa (Jeffrey) Washington, Cynthia (Joseph) Douglas, Tauwanna Wade, Shannon (William) Fenwick, Tousha (William) Wade- Richards, Ronald Wade, Zachary Wade, Tomeka Wade, Brittany Wade and Keyona Wade; He is the loving brother of Richard Butler, John W. Butler, Ann Butler, Mary Helen Butler, Mary Lucille Matthews, Pauline Butler, Lucille Butler, Doris Ann Butler, Theresa Ann Mitchell, and Mary Rose Butler; brother in law of Agnes Curtis, Annie Jenkins and Sis Jennifer; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; dear relative of Diane Reeves Briscoe of Charlotte Hall, Maryland; close buddy of, Raymond Douglas, Irvin Thompson, Mr. Boze Chase, Jimmy Lee Gray and Charles Shanks; good friend of Barbara Wade and Ruth Neal.
Thomas was preceded in death by his son, Tyrel Allen, Jr.; four brothers, William Butler, Michael Butler, John B. Butler, and Joseph Brown, a sister in law, Rebecca Butler.

Family and friends will unite on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Bryantown Catholic Church, 13715 Notre Dame Place, Bryantown, Maryland 20617 (just off of Oliver’s Shop Road). Interment St. Mary’s Bryantown Catholic Church Cemetery.
I will remember all the goodtimes we had dancing and listening to music on the weekends.
