Saunders Ed Lyon, 54, of California, MD., (affectionately known as “Sambo”), entered into eternal rest on November 10, 2012 at Georgetown Hospital. Sambo was born on May 11, 1959 to Roberta Keeman and the late Ed Vallandingham.
Sambo was a fun-loving person. He enjoyed life and loved spending time with his family and friends. His favorite hobbies were fishing and crabbing.
Sambo was preceded in death by his father, Ed Vallandingham; sister, Rosalie Russell and grandparents, Alice and Henson Lyon.
Sambo leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Roberta Keeman; sister, Marie Pilkerton; aunts, Alice Lacey, Marie Baringer, Anna Baringer and Brenda Lyon; cousins, Barbara Trossbach, David Trossbach, Lisa Trossbach, J C Russell, Joey Trossbach, Tyresa Lyon, Donna Lyon, Crystal Harris, George Harris, Mary Harris, Jimmy Harris, Lizzard Trossbach, Ann Simmons, and Frank Simmons; brother-in-law, Lee Russell and other family and friends.
A private memorial service will be held.
