ROSE HELEN SHADE On Thursday, December 30, 2010 of Mechanicsville, MD, died at her residence. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Shade, Sr.; devoted mother of Thomas, Jr., Levi, Darryl, Neil, Eldridge and Jesse Shade, Agnes Taylor, Millie Nellis, Helen Cauley and Rose Weaver and the late Howard, Martin, Audrey and Angela Shade. Also survived by six sisters, 20 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. at BRISCOE-TONIC FUNERAL HOME 2294 Old Washington Rd., Waldorf, MD and on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 29119 Point Lookout Rd., Morganza, MD.

I love you with all my heart. You will be with me forever through our memories. I will think of you always when I see the snow fall, walking the beach to collect sea shells, raking leaves, going to point look-out, and our times in Myrtle Beach. You think I’ll be able to climb a tree in my 70’s? Love you forever.
