
Rhonda Ann Pickeral was born on July 12,1956 to the late Cardinal Johnson Sr. and Barbara Johnson. She was a beloved mother who passed away very peacefully on May 17, 2016 . She is survived by her son Daniel A. Pickeral (Jaimi) and daughter Brandy Pickeral (Billy). She leaves behind five grandchildren; Kyrie Proctor, Malik Pridgen, Jamir Pridgen, London Pickeral, and Daniel Carter. Her siblings are Sharon Chapman, Darnette Hall, and Cardinal Johnson Jr. (Eleanor) and longtime friend, Jerome Plater. Rhonda also leaves a host of family and friends to carry on her memory.Rhonda was a resident of Bryantown, MD and a member of St. Mary’s of Bryantown Catholic Church, where she received her sacraments. Rhonda attended Charles County Public Schools and graduated from Thomas Stone High School in 1974.Rhonda was a resident of Bryantown, MD where she grew up and continued to live until the time of her death. She furthered her education by becoming a Cosmetologist. Rhonda was a beautician and worked many years as a hairstylist before changing careers and becoming a Health Care provider. Rhonda was the life of the party, but she was humorous and witty, high spirited and good-natured, and a hard-working woman. She also enjoyed going out to different restaurants and being comical and talkative.When Rhonda wasn’t working, she enjoyed spending time with family and adored her grandchildren. She was a good friend to many and her smile could brighten your day. Those who visited Rhonda always left with a smile on their face. Rhonda will live on in our memory and through the lives of her children, grandchildren, and those who love her.Rhonda was preceded in death by her father, Cardinal Johnson, Sr., and her sister, Loreta Johnson.Family and friends will unite on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 10am until time of Mass of Christian burial at 11am at St. Mary’s of Bryantown Catholic Church, 13715 Notre Dame Pl., Bryantown, MD 20617. Interment immediately following at the church cemetery.
