Services:

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, January 15, 2011 from 10 am until time of service 11 am at Zion United Methoist Church 21291 Three Notch Road in Lexington Park, MD 20653. Interment will take place at St. Peter Claver Catholic Cemetery. Regina C. (Day) Mason also known affectionately by family and friends as “Totsie”, died suddenly on January 6, 2011. Totsie was born to the late Samuel and Florence Day on May 2, 1946 in Lexington Park, Maryland. She had numerous jobs as bartender, head cook, janitor and her last position of 12 years was as a mail courier aboard the Naval Air Warfare Center at Patuxent River, MD. The most profound joy during her career as a mail courier was learning how to drive a straight stick vehicle. During her career endeavors, she had acquired a multitude of friends and ones who became very dear to her.
Totsie was a great mother, grandmother, friend and beautiful person. She is proceeded in death by her parents, her daughters; Cheryl Marie Major and Vera Alicia Day, brothers; Jim, Albert, John, and Eugene Day; son-in-law Louis Major and a granddaughter Revva Major. She is survived by her sons; Patrick (Sonya), Alvin (Bernadette), and her daughters Tonia (James) Holt and Yvonne Spindella.
Grandchildren: Michelle, Lamar, Raquelle, Shontella, Troy, Regina, Derek, Demetrick, Tramont, Tyrael, Vonta, Bernale, Destiny, JaMarcus, Adanya, Lavonya,
