On Thursday, July 29th, 2010, Quentin Deante Robinson was called to eternal rest, while participating in one of his favorite hobbies, which was fishing.
Deante was born May 10, 1987 to proud parents, Clinton and Cecelia Robinson. Deante was the youngest of two sons out of this union. He is survived by siblings Clinton Jr., Brittney, and Brandon Robinson. Deante is also survived by his fiancé Sharon Hein, two godchildren Alyssa Rowan and Jayden Preston Hein, and a host of family and friends. Deante was predeceased by his grandparents Thomas and Tillie Parker and Carrie Goodman.
In 2005 Deante graduated from Chopticon High School. After high school Deante began attending Morgan State University, as a business major. He was due to graduate in May 2011. Deante has been an active member of the Alpha Chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Incorporated since 2008. He was also a dedicated employee of Wal-Mart.
Anyone who knew Deante knew that he loved sports and electronics. He had a passion for basketball, and loved to watch football. His family could always count on him to tell them how sorry the Redskins were. He loved to watch movies, and play video games. Deante enjoyed swimming, whether it was at the pool or at the beach on vacation. He also found enjoyment and peace when fishing with family and friends. Deante loved to eat, and he loved to joke around. Deante found satisfaction and pleasure in fixing things whether it be a computer or a broken door. He was his mothers “Mr. Fix-It” even after he moved out.
Deante was devoted to his studies, his job, his fraternity, his friends and his family.
His voice, smile, laugh, touch, and spirit will never be forgotten.
