Preston Herald, Jr. went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 21, 2016. Loving husband of the late Mildred Herald; devoted father of Preston Herald, III, Gwendolyn Faulkner (the late Neil), Elliott Herald (Deborah), Vernon Herald (Allison); and the late Ronald Herald; grandfather of Derrick Joyner (Hila), Derrick (Terra), Darrin, and Ariel Herald; great-grandchildren, Derrick H.P. and Hamilton Herald, and Aleen Joyner; father-in-law of Delores. He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Family and friends will unite on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 10:00 am until time of service 11:00 am at Brown Memorial AME Church, 14th St and Constitution Ave NE, Washington, DC. Interment Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.
