OTIS JAMES BROOKS, I “OJ” Peacefully on Sunday, March 20, 2016, Otis passed away at the VA Medical Center in Washington, DC. He is survived by his loving wife Emma Singleton Brooks; two devoted children, Bridget A. Brooks and Otis J. Brooks, II; a sister, Antoinette Callie Brooks Sterling; a brother, David A. Brooks, I; five grandchildren, Ashley J. Brooks, Hailey Galbreath, Octavia J. Brooks and Albert L. Ikner, IV and Calvin Hampton; one great-grandchild, Renzo A.
