Nora Frances Fuller-Carter was born in Bennettsville South Carolina on November 20, 1943 to the late James Linsay Fuller, and Mary Eliza Harrington Fuller. She departed this life after a lengthy illness on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Leonardtown, Maryland.

Nora was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many. Nora was better known to her family back home as “Bae”. She received her education in South Carolina public school system. Nora started working at the age of 18 in New York as a Nanny for the Glass family. Shortly thereafter she held various jobs cooking when she moved to Maryland. She also held many jobs caring for the elderly until her health wouldn’t allow her to do so.

Nora was the 3rd oldest of seven children. She has one sister Doretha Fields of Philadelphia and one brother James Fuller of South Carolina. Nora precedes in death by two brothers Theron Fuller and Carl Fuller; Sisters: Mae Bell Bostic and Rosa Fuller; Father-In-Law: Joseph W. Carter Sr; Brother-In-Laws: James Gantt Carter Sr, and Joseph Walter Carter Jr. The loss of Nora leaves a void that only God can fill in the life of her devoted husband, Cordell Carter Sr. of 44 years. On September 5, 1965 Nora married the love of her life from this union. She leaves four loving and devoted children. Woodland Jr of Lexington Park, MD and Tiffany Fuller of Georgia; Great-Grandchildren: Kelvin Bazemore of Leonardtown, MD, Daziah Fuller of Lexington Park, MD and Kavon Fuller of Georgia. Daughter-In-Law: Kaiesha Carter of Leonardtown, MD; Son-In-Law: Keith Smallwood Sr of Lexington Park, MD; Sister-In-Laws: Shirley Carter of Austin Town, OH, Doris Jameson of Avenue, MD, Barbara McNair of Mechanicsville, MD, and Diane Fuller of Mechanicsville, MD; Brother-In-Law: Joe Fields of Philadelphia. A very special mother-in-law Agnes G. Carter of Mechanicsville, MD; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many other loving relatives and friends.
