Nelson Odoms departed this earthly life peacefully at his residence on June 5, 2013. Family and friends will unite for services on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from 5:30pm until time of service 7:00pm at Fort Washington Baptist Church 11516 Fort Washington Road Fort Washington, MD 20744. Interment will be held on Friday, June 14, 2013 10:00 a.m. at Maryland Veterans Cemetery Cheltenham, MD.

We know Nelson has been sick a long time, but we were still sorry to hear of his passing. We know he is in a better place and hope your loving memories of him will help to ease your pain.

I am truly sorry for the loss of Nelson. Nelson and I worked together at the IRS for over twenty years and he helped train other attorneys’ and myself to hold our heads high and always strive for excellence. My family and I will keep you in our prayers.
