On Tuesday, August 8, 2023, Monte Eugene Curtis, of Waldorf, MD, departed this earthly life and entered eternal rest.
Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 10:00am until hour of service 11:00am at Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home, 7 Industrial Park Drive, Waldorf, MD.
Interment will follow the service at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery in Cheltenham, MD.
My condolences to Marlon and family. This breaks my heart. Monte is the man responsible for the highlight tape that got me into college. I am forever greatful. Great man! Rest well!
Monte and Gwen have been nextdoor neighbors for nearly 47 years. We watched their children grow up and have children of their own, upon whom Monte doted. Things won’t be as pleasant without you, old friend.
