Offer Condolence for the family of Michael Anthony Johnson (1956-2023)
To the family of Micheal Johnson our Condolence to you and we are praying for your family
Hello my sister,
May God comfort you and give you strength.
As with my brother in law , he is smiling and loving his life now. He don’t have to worry about the cares of this world . I love you and miss picking with you .
To our dearest friend, Leslie Johnson… it’s so hard to say goodbye and it doesn’t seem real to us. Michael will always be truly missed, his bright smile, his funny laughter, his crazy humor, his warm distinguished demeanor, and his greatly loving helping manner. Your “Rock of Gibraltar” will forevermore be with you. We will always remember running into him at Harris Teeter having small chats and laughing about Roamie (kitty), his home improvement advice and helping us throughout our home and our lives. He made a loving impact on all who had met him. We know Michael is with his Heavenly Father in heaven looking down on his Homegoing and Homecoming. RIP dearest friend.
As Mike and Lessie’s next-door neighbor, I knew Mike for over 20 years, As Marguerite mentioned above, Mike was our block mayor, always willing to lend a helping hand. To Lessie, Angela, and family, please take comfort in knowing that all who knew Mike share in your loss. Mike was a good friend and a good neighbor. I shall miss him a lot.
Lessie and family you have my prayers and blessings. Please know I feel your pain and sorrow and we will pray for peace and sorrow.
To Mike’s wife, Lessie and family,
I would like to express my sincere condolences for your loss. It is hard to even express what a treasure Mike was to our block at Ives Place. Mike was everyone’s friend, advisor, supporter and helper. I can’t even count the number of times he extended a helping hand to me personally. I have been out of town this winter, and (like everyone else on the block, I’m sure), I can’t even imagine what it’s going to be like without our ‘block Mayor’s’ presence, his friendly smile and warmth and his care and vigilance when it came to protecting our block. Mike dedicated a lot of personal time and his talents to truly serve our small community and helped connect us with each other. He will be missed terribly! May he rest in peace.
Marguerite Joseph (Neighbor)
Mike, I know you’re in God’s bosom happy that you made it home to be with the Lord. But you are truly missed. I really cherish the memories of the times we shared together when I visited you and Lessie. I’ll miss your smile, dancing (LoL), and the many years we spent during the holidays and other events. They will forever be embedded in my heart. You were a very hard working man and one of many trades such as mechanics, roofing, welding, HVAC, computers etc. there was nothing you couldn’t do and to my knowledge you had no fears of anything. You were a true God given Gem in which many misunderstood to be a tiny stone but your light never went dull and will continue to shine even brighter now that you’re in the hands of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
To my brother, Michael Anthony Johnson
Farewell beloved one
You’re at peace now and FOREVER in my heart
Love you always!
Tell Ethel Lan, Squeaky, Paula, Robert, Walter and PeeWee
I miss them terribly as I will you (sad)
Remember, You still owe me a haircut (smile)
