Peacefully on Friday, December 3rd, 2010 Mary went home to be with the Lord. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2010 from 10 am until time of service 11 am at Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Maryland National Cemetery Laurel, MD.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all in your time of need. It was a pleasure meeting Mrs. Blackwell through Brenda whom I first met in my early days at Dept. of Commerce. She was a sweet person who always shared words of wisdom to Brenda and her friends which we were grateful for. May she rest in peace.
Grandma you will be truly be missed….I can still remember you getting after us that night at the kitchen table. You were an amazing woman….Thanks for being you. I love you and miss you greatly. To the Blackwell family my heart goes out to each and everyone of you. May God continue to bless the Blackwell family and give then strength during this time. This is a celebration of Mary’s life. Let us rejoice. Until I see you again up there in that oh so wonderful place called “Heaven”…..rest in peace Grandma.
