Devoted wife of Henry Rachel; loving mother of William and Derrick Medley, Elizabeth, Kenneth and Jonathan Brown, Elaine Brown-Williams, Lorraine Brown-Harrison, Shirley Nelson and the late Mary Romain; dear sister of Joseph, Lawrence and Margaret Medley, Shirlean Williams, Agnes Thomas and Jessica Medley-Jackson. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation on Friday, September 4 from 10 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m. at New Home Baptist Church, 8320 Landover Rd., Landover, MD. Interment Harmony Memorial Park.
