She is survived by five sons, Richard, Jr., Darel, Jerome, Maurice and Jeffrey Lucas, Sr.; two adopted children, Darryl Fletcher and Jeffrey Lucas, Jr.; siblings, Emily Bankhead, Ellen Campbell, Margaret Smith, Thomas and Curtis Campbell; 27 grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
