Sending heartfelt condolences to my dear Sister-in-law Bonnie, my nieces, and the grandchildren of Leroy Goodman, my brother. Thank you Cherelle and Bonnie for reaching out to me, it meant a lot to me. I remember my brother back in the day as Q. He was very popular in high school and well liked. I regret missing him so many years when I left home very early to move to California with my two young kids and my husband J.C. We did not see each other often, only a few family reunions. It seemed so hard to get every home to visit at one time. However, I will never forget the time my husband drove us from California to New Mexico to bring me to visit my brother, Leroy and your lovely family in New Mexico. Those memories were precious. I love my brother and all my family, the distance cannot break our family bond. May the God of comfort console your hearts and provide all that you have need of. Goodbye Leroy, Rest In Peace…
Annette Potter, (Sister)
Aunt Bonnie and Goodman family, my prayers are with you today and the many days ahead. We will all miss Uncle Leroy, but I can only imagine what you all are feeling right now! In the loss of your husband, their father, their grandfather, and brother to many siblings, and uncle to a host of nieces and nephews. Know that you are not alone. Others grieve with you and are standing by to be a support during this season of loss and grief. God is an ever present help and he will not leave you comfortless. His peace is with you, and he is your strength when you are weak. “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning!” I hope your morning is near…I pray that your hurt and pain will subside soon, and that you all will be able to dwell on the happy memories of his life with smiles and laughter. Only time will heal the sadness and grief. God bless you family! Maggie Whitman, Niece.

My beautiful Goodman family, my prayers and love are with you all as you try to deal with the loss of Uncle Leroy.
If I could I would still have him here being the amazing husband, wonderful father and grandfather.
If I could I would roll back time and the day this all began never was.
If I could I would assure my family it will be alright.
What I can do is love and be there for them, be that ear to listen, that voice to comfort, that laughter to hopefully help ease their pain.
You all are my family and I love you, May God continue to comfort and strengthen you all.
John 16:22

My deepest condolences to the Guerline family Mrs. Goodman you are a phenomenal woman who has him do it so much in life. There’s no words that can console you for losing the other half of your soul right now but one thing I can say is that just a good man loved all of his family so very much an everlasting love. There are no words that I can see that can console you from the pain that you’re going through at this moment in time because you lost the core of your family. The fact that he was asked for pictures of you while he was in the hospital bed is proof that his love for you is so unconditional that even though he was suffering he only thought about his love for his family so that right there is beauty because you know that he is definitely watching over you because you are the first and the last thoughts on his mind. I don’t even know what to say or how to say it because I know that has to go man had a big heart and infinite knowledge. May God give you the fortitude and strength to get through this. It will not be easy because it’s never easy saying goodbye but just know that goodbye is not for ever because his spirit lives on in through each one of you is Children he lives on and his grandchildren so I love you all and may God bless you and keep you through this time because there’s no words truly they can help ease such a pain God bless you and I love you.
