Latidi Deafulas Slye, of White Plains, MD departed this earthly life on Tuesday, July 11, 2023.
Family and friends will gather for a service on Friday, July 28, 2023, visitation will begin at 10:00am and continue until time of service, 11:00am, at City of Praise Family Ministries, 8501 Jericho City Dr, Landover, MD 20785. Interment will be private.

Slye was the sweetest individual. My husband and I moved to 70 in 2021 and Slye was always our go to person and regularly checked in to make sure we were okay. He truly brought so much light into every room he walked into. He always had a smile on his face, even during stressful times, and didn’t let his sense of humor waiver. We have such great memories living at 70 because of him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
I would like to take this time to give my sincere condolence. I am so sorry for your loss. I am a former colleague, and have had the pleasure of working with the departed for a number of years. He will truly be missed and his absence has been life-changing to the atmosphere at work, it’s just not the same, by not having the daily counter of his warm smile or a friendly joke from him.
