Peacefully on July 5, 2014, LaJohnne Alexa Swann departed this earthly life. She is survived by her loving children, Adrienne (Reynard) Brown, Theresa Charles, John Swann, Michelle Swann, Yvette (Morris) Cobb, LaVerna (Paul) Prudhomme, and Monica (Keith) Banton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Swann and son Charles “Chucky” Swann. She was also blessed with 28 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; other relatives and friends.
Visitation Thursday, July 10, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 1600 Morris Road, SE, Washington, DC. Interment: Harmony Memorial Cemetery.
