Peacefully on Saturday, December 3, 2016, Katrina passed away at Southern Maryland Hospital in Clinton, Maryland. Friends may unite with the family on Monday, December 12, from 10 am until time of service 11 am at the BRISCOE-TONIC FUNERAL HOME located at 2294 Old Washington Road in Waldorf, MD 20601. Interment will follow at Harmony Cemetery in Landover, MD.

It’s very unfortunate to lose a love one. I hope that friends an family of katrina finds comfort from gods word where he promises that “he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, niether will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away” (Rev 21:3,4)
Mrs. Carter-Bright (Mrs. Katrina to our family) worked with our autistic son for years and greatly contributed to his ability to read and to be able to attend school. Unfortunately, we only knew Mrs. Katrina and didn’t know her family well, so we are just learning of her passing. We are deeply sorry for her family’s monumental loss and will remember her always for the contribution she made to our son’s educational outcome. We love you always, Mrs. Katrina.
