Peacefully on Sunday, December 14, 2014 Karen Antoinette Jones departed this earthly life in Washington DC. Family and friends will unite in Tuesday, December 23, 2014 from 10:00 am until time of service 11:00 am at Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home 2294 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, MD 20601. Interment will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2014 10:00 am at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
I had the opportunity to share many work years with Karen when we both worked at PPC. One of the things that I loved about Karen was her sharp wit and dry sense of humor. I admired her strong resolve while undergoing many years of health related issues. Her personal strength and strong love of her family made Karen a woman that I will never forget.

Mrs.Jones, we are saddened to learn of your daughter’s passing. She was blessed to have you as her mother, for you are truly a loving mother and a wonderful person.
