JIMMY T. BARNES Peacefully on December 29, 2013 Jimmy T. Barnes departed this earthly life. He is survived by his devoted wife, Sharon Barnes; step-children Chanel McGriff and Dana McGriff, Jr.; father Wiley Barnes, Sr.; sisters Dorothy (Edward) Barnes-Adams and Cynthia Barnes; brothers Jeff Barnes, Robert (Irma) Barnes, Ronald (Linda) Barnes, Wiley Barnes, Jr. and Elder George Barnes; four grandchildren. Predeceased by his mother Dorothy L. Barnes. Family and friends will unite on Monday, January 6, 2014 at St. Marks Baptist Church, 624 Underwood St., NW, Washington, DC from 10 a.m. until time of Service 11 a.m. Interment immediately following at Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
