OBITUARY
Jaxon Aidan McDonald made his grand entrance into this world on April 21, 2010. From the minute he was born on that warm spring day in Newport News, Virginia, he captivated the hearts of all those around him.
During Jaxon’s six short months of life, he blessed many lives, especially his parents, Allen and Melinda McDonald. He woke up with a smile on his face every morning and as a result, he set the tone for everyone’s day. His joy and happiness were manifested through his cheerful disposition and could always be seen in his big beautiful eyes. Jaxon’s wonderful warm coos were from the heart and they landed on the ears like sweet melodies. His tiny hands were the perfect size for grasping fingers; even his touch was infectious. Everyone who met him immediately fell in love with him. Jaxon’s life was a brief, special gift to those who loved him dearly and who will miss him wholeheartedly.
Jaxon departed this life on November 3, 2010 at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. He leaves behind his parents: Allen and Melinda McDonald II; grandparents: Silvia Fisher, Clyde Holliday, Allen and Joyce McDonald; aunts: Mareesa Ellis, Althea Geiger, Nadia Holliday; uncle: Lamon McDonald; cousins: Jade Holliday, Jeida McDonald, Nikko McDonald, Latiesse Silva; great grandmother: Rosa McDonald: extended family Stephanie Petteway and her daughters; Kamora Parker and Kamiya Parker and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Blessed Be The Name of the Lord and all the great things that he has done! Even in a time like this, when our hearts are heavy, we must thank him for the precious angel he has allowed to be in our lives for six months. Know that our God will take care of you. We love you!
