Loving husband of Karen Jones Herbert; devoted father of Debra (Kevin) Wyatt; dear brother of Joseph Armstrong, Richard Herbert, Mary and Rosetta Holt, Helen Jefferson and Grace Bush. He is also survived by two grandchildren three great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 11 a.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 9801 Livingston RD., Ft. Washington, MD (Broadcreek).
