She is survived by her devoted companion, Anthony Rivera; son, Samuel Ashton; mother, Ora Mae Griffin; brothers, Charles (Clarice) Ashton, Jr. and Christopher (Christina) Ashton; sister, Kimberly Griffin; four nephews, Charles, III, Julian and Owen Ashton and Brian Dixon, Jr.; devoted mother to many, Mildred Morales and Rev. Beatrice Edwards; other loving relatives and friends. Visitation, Saturday, April 13 from 10 a.m. until time of service, 11 am. at BRISCOE-TONIC FUNERAL HOME, 2294 Old Washington Rd., Waldorf, MD. Interment Heritage Cemetery.
