Im going to really miss Mr. Brown. He succeeded and excelled in DC as a Native Washingtonian; I’ve always been impressed by that. Having had the chance to experience his humor, candor, warmth and wisdom will stay with me always. I Love You Mr. Brown. I thank My SistaGurl Friend-Angela for enriching my life forever with wonderful times and memories of Mr. Herbert Brown and Beloved Mrs. Gwen Brown. Love Ad Infinitum, Lisa, Ty and Sadaya xoxoxoxoxox
I had the pleasure of working with Herb on the midnight shift, as his apprentice for a couple of years, printing both postage stamps and food coupons on the Cottrell presses. He was always easy going and a pleasure to work with. I’m sorry to hear of his passing.

Herb was a kind and gentle human being. He was always there to help and assist anyone he worked with at the Bureau. I worked with him occasionally as an apprentice and journeyman. He was respected by all the Plate Printers at Local #2. I am honored to have known Herb. We are diminished.
