Gloria was the nicest person you ever wanted to meet. My sister introduced us back in the day when we all rode the bus downtown in the mornings for work. She always had a story to tell me about her kids, and I would share my story about my family. We would read share book titles of books we were reading on the bus. I am so sorry that I did not get a chance to see her. My condolences to her family, she was so proud of each and everyone of you. RIP My Sister!

For several years when Industrial Trade was the hub of our trade negotiations and at the same time handled one half of all USTR correspondence, she kept our unit running smoothly and effectively. She was the complete secretary — a great typist, superb organizer — and so much more. She was unfailingly friendly, cool headed, and resourceful. She was utterly dependable and discreet. She worked hard and sought opportunities to advance. She was devoted to, and immensely proud of, her children. She was kind, gentle and modest. She had it all. Rest in peace, Gloria.
