FRANK BENEDICT “FRANKIE” CUTCHEMBER

Frank Benedict Cutchember, affectionately known as “Frankie”, departed this life peacefully in his sleep on April 11, 2023.  He was born on January 23,1959 to the late Roy Ignatius and Australia Ufame Riche Cutchember. 

Frankie received his education from the St. Mary’s County Public School System and Job Corps.  He held multiple positions as a maintenance employee throughout his career including St. Mary’s College of Maryland, the NAS Patuxent River Drill Hall, and Dean & Son Painting.

Frankie was happiest when he was in his yard tending to his plants and garden.  Frankie loved life and passing time with his family and friends.  He could be found sitting at home on his porch with his favorite beverage entertaining those who stopped by and spending time with his dog, “Louie”.  Frankie was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and watched many games over the years with his brothers.

In addition to his parents, Frankie was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles “B” Cutchember and Joseph Gaskin and sister, Yvonne Cutchember.

Frankie leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Dewon Dyson and Corey Bonds; grandchildren, Damien Dyson, Devin Dyson and Kieshana Young; great-grandchildren, Alauni and Lalaunn Butler; brothers, Roy “Chipper” Cutchember, Jr., Orlando Cutchember, James “Jimmy” Cutchember, Charles “Merle” (Yvonne) Cutchember and Gerald Lawrence; sisters, Mary Lou (Julian) Bryan, Kathy “Muriel” Cutchember and Jacqueline “Jackie” (Joe) Berry; special nephews, Michael “Chuckie” Mason, Derrick Cutchember and Aaron Maddox, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends, who will miss him dearly.

Family and friends will gather on Friday, April 28, 2023 for visitation at 10 am; Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at St. George’s Catholic Church,19199 St. George’s Church Road, Valley Lee, MD. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
