FLORENCE D. NELSON Peacefully answered the Lord’s call on Sunday November 12, 2017. She is survived by her loving children John (Georgetta) Durrett, Paula (Roderick) Long, Leonard (Linda) Durrett, Kevin Davis, and Renee Dyson; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Clarice Bryce of Lanham, MD., and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Visitation Saturday November 18, 2017, 11 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at St Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 2015 Rhode Island Ave. NE, Interment Glenwood Cemetery, Washington DC.
