Ernest Akers, Jr. entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 30, 2017. Family and friends will unite on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 11:00 am until time of service 12 noon at First Baptist Church of Glenarden, 3600 Brightseat Rd, Landover, MD. Interment immediately following at Maryland Veteran Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
