
Edwina Denise Fenwick (affectionately known as “Wina”), 49, of Lexington Park, passed away on February 27, 2012. Family and friends will unite on Monday, March 5, 2012 for visitation from 10 am until time of service at 11 am at Park Hall Holiness Church, Park Hall, MD. with Reverend Phillip Spence officiating. Interment immediately following in the Church Cemetery. Edwina was born September 16, 1962 in Leonardtown, Maryland to Clara Venzena Collins and Charles Gough Fenwick. Wina spent most of her life in St. Mary’s County. Wina graduated from Great Mills High School in 1980.Wina accepted Christ in her life as a youth and received her Christian training at Park Hall True Holiness Church (formerly known as The House of God, Gates of Heaven Church Mission #2) under the tutelage of the late Bishop John Clifton. She sang on the Celestial Choir and one of her favorite songs that she lead was “I Made a Vow to the Lord”.Wina enjoyed cooking, crocheting, drawing and doing calligraphy. Wina always had a great fondness of animals. Wina loved her family and her family loved her greatly no matter what. When you saw Wina in the “Park”, in her sweet, proud and innocent voice she would say, “Auntie give me a couple of dollars” and then she would say, “Thanks, I love you” and go her merry way.Wina leaves to mourn her unexpected departure her parents – Clara Collins and Charles Fenwick, three children – William Fenwick, Jovan Fenwick and Destiny Fenwick, three grandchildren – Naja and Zion Fenwick and Siniyah Mobley, four sisters – Valerie Fenwick, Karenza Douglas, Lisa Burgess and Roszena Fenwick, two brothers – Charles Fenwick and Grant Collins, Aunts – Mae Howell, Rosalee Holly, Lois Taylor, Deborah Newkirk, Gloria Thompson, Constance Brooks, Darlene Hill, Faith Campbell, Karen Davis, Rachel Brooks and Candy Carroll, Uncles – Ambrose Fenwick, William Fenwick, Louis Brooks, James Thompson, Hardin Brooks, Delroy Brooks, Eric Brooks and Gregory Thompson, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.Wina was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents – Louis and Rose Brooks and James Thompson, her paternal grandparents – Ambrose and Bertha Fenwick and her maternal great grandmother – Rachel Hill.
