DOROTHY TERESA SHAVATT On Wednesday, April 29, 2015, Dorothy entered into eternal rest. Loving mother of Katie Thompson, Russ, Bernie, Tom, Frank and Bill Shavatt. Also survived by a devoted granddaughter and caregiver, Mary Mitcheltree and Kathie Reynolds, as well as a host of other grandchildren; great-grandchildren; dear sister of Rose Harry and James Russell and the late Austin , Lee , Dickie and Fadalies Russell and Helene Hoffman. Visitation 11 a.m.; Service, 1 p.m., Tuesday, May 5 at Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home, 38576 Brett Way, Mechanicsville, MD. Interment Tuesday, May 12, 1:45 p.m. at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery.
