Peacefully on March 12, 2014, Dorothy Starr Simms departed this earthly life. Family and friends will unite for a memorial service on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home, 2294 Old Washington Rd., Waldorf, MD from 9:30 am until time of service at 10:00 am.

I miss my aunt Dottie so very much. Th family get together sat her house or at my parents house. She was guaranteed to bring a smile and her famous seafood salad aka deed God knows to the party. Life isn’t the same without you and the rest of the family. May you all rest in power.
