Dorothy Reed (Dottie), 65, of Leonardtown MD, entered into eternal peace on November 18, 2013.
Dottie was born in Calvert county Md on October 25, 1948. She enjoyed bingo. She loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart. Dottie is survived by her 2 daughters, Sherrie (Grant) Lape and Ashley Jaxel; five grandchildren, Desittinee, LG, Jessy, Adrianna and Karmella; brothers, George and Michael Henderson; sisters, Bert and Dee Henderson and Edith Thomas; nephews, Wayne, Eddie and George Mathis, Eddie Jr., Anthony Arthur, Roosevelt, Michael, Jimmy, George Jr. and Ron Henderson, Robert Lynch, Tony Triolo, Michael and Albert Thomas, Ricky and Norman Jones; nieces, Catherine Makuch, Chrissy Henderson Hoff, Diane and Connie Henderson Miller, Samantha Cavey, Mary Dennison, Mary Jones, Verna Ferrante, Denise Henderson Crivella, Elizabeth Amriger, Mary Lou Thomas, Suzanne Prentice, and Bonnie Billingsley. Many great nephews and nieces that will miss her more than words can express. Dottie is preceded in death by her parents Arthur W. and Mary N. Henderson, her son Dewy Reed; brothers Louis, Billy, Pete and Eddie Henderson; sisters Mary Caolo and Ruth Moran; nephews Tommy and Johnny Henderson and Carmelo Triolo.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30 from 11:00a.m. until service time at 12 noon at Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home located at 2294 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, MD 20601
