On Monday, June 24, 2013, Doris Anderson, of Bowie, MD, peacefully went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her loving family. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 5 from 10 am until time of Memorial Service 11 am at the BRISCOE-TONIC FUNERAL HOME 2294 Old Washington Road in Waldorf, Md.
Mrs. Anderson was truly a child of the living God. Her Christian walk was driven and purposeful. My fondest memories include those of her as a disciple class instructor. May the family find peace in those wonderful memories as they celebrate the gift of her life.
