Dennis Eugene Holt, 54 of Mechanicsville, MD, departed this earthly life on Monday, September 7, 2015. Dennis was preceded in death by his father, William Thomas; grandfather, George Plater; great-grandfather, Wingate Holt; great-grandmother, Bessie Holt; uncle, David Holt; great-uncle Albert Holt; and two great-aunts Mary Medley and Laura Butler.
Dennis is survived by his mother Geraldine Curtis; step-father Joseph (Mitchell) Curtis; grandmother, Ida Plater; four siblings, Pamela Curtis, Wendy Thomas (James), Michelle Curtis and Joseph (Shawn) Stevens, and a host of other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Family and friends will unite on Monday, September 14, 2015 for visitation at 9:00 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 28297 Old Village Road, Mechanicsville, MD. Interment will follow at Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD.

To Ms. Ida & Entire Holt Family, Dennis will surely be missed in the New Market area. He was always willing to give a helping hand; always thinking of everyone else and in many time forgetting about himself. His antics and free spirit will always be remembered especially when he found it no problem parking his bike anywhere and anytime he felt like it. We loved him and will miss him.
