Wow, went to Cardinal Mooney together, and Cheryl is still as beautiful as she was then! My God bless the family!
How do I say good bye to one of my oldest and dearest friends? I realized i’ve lost a foundational person in my life one who I traveled from childhood to womanhood with with all that that entails. Such a great loss but you were loved and will be deeply missed. Love Joni
It’s with a heavy heart I send my deepest sympathy. Through Cheryl’s example, she taught us how to live a good, productive life that is fruitful and secure. I’ll miss your spirit and will call you blessed Cheryl Torbert.
I initially met Cheryl at DOJ in the CRS department. She truly was a friend and mentor there through my journey. We usually spoke about a dozen times a year, and I will miss our conversations. She is with her Heavenly Father now, so let us rejoice in her glory.
What a beautiful lady in every sense! I was blessed to have known her. She was always a joy to see and talk to. Her enthusiasm and passion for the work we do helping victims was contiguous. While she was responsible for budgets and numbers, I loved when she would ask me program questions–one question layered on top of the other. When talking with Cheryl, work related stress seemed to disappear, she had a way of highlighting what was really important–PEOPLE–. She was a motivator, always making me feel energized to keep moving forward. I will miss her tremendously!!
