
Carlyle is the son of Mrs. Sophia M. Dyson.
He was educated in the Charles County System.
Carlyle worked many various jobs, including farming with his grandfather, Patuxent Naval Station, and the Maryland Chemical Company in Baltimore.
Carlyle lived in Charles County, Montgomery County, and Baltimore.
The later years of life he moved to his own apartment, at Arcola Towers in Silver Spring, MD until his health started to fail. He then moved to an assisted living facility.
Carlyle loved laughing and having fun. He also loved to play the harmonica and the guitar. He had a special adoration for family and held each close to his heart.
He leaves to mourn his death three daughters: Pasty, Carrissa and Veronica and a son: Carl. Mourning his death also are his mother, Mrs. Sophia M. Dyson, sister: Mary E. Dyson Milburn; brothers: Joseph Robert, Preston Eugene, and Bernard Xavia; Nephews: Barney, Tauren, Steven, and Solomon; Nieces: Tara and Sharon; Great Nephews: Shun Jr., Tyrell, Byron, Victor, Dominic, Tracy, Patric, Daquan, Dwayne: Great nieces: Frances and Krystal, and a host other family and friends. He will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace.
Visitation: Monday June 28, 2010 6-8 pm at Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home and Tuesday 10 am at LaPlata United Methodist Church
