Carlton Hillyer, 66 of Chaptico, MD., peacefully passed away on April 6, 2013 at his residence. Family will unite with friends on Monday, April 15, 2013 at 9:30 am until time of service at 11:00 am at Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home, 38576 Brett Way, Mechanicsville, MD. Interment will be on April 23, 2013 at 2:00 pm at MD Veterans’ Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD. Elder Carla Hillyer will be officiating.
I am honored to have known Carlton while working at USDA. He was admired and respected for his positive spirit, work ethic and mentoring talents. Our loss is heaven’s gain. Thank you for your service to this nation. Prayers to the Hillyer family and take comfort in knowing he is restored whole with his LORD.
I had known car since we both where small boys growing up in glenarden we live within one block of each other he always have been a close friend and he sure would be miss.
