Bonnie was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 21, 2012.
Family and friends will unite for a viewing from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at the Open Gate Ministries, 4028 Old Washington Road Waldorf, MD 20602. Funeral service will follow at 12 p.m.
The Life and Spirit of Bonnie Sharon Richards will Live from Here to Eternity. May you rest in Peace as you join the Angels of His Almighty Throne and Kingdom! My prayers are with you during this season. Bonnie will never (ever) be forgotten. She’ll always have that special place in my heart and that of my children. Always having an encouraging word for single women, struggling parents, and just those of us who have often wondered “why this or that.” I am happy to have had the opportunity to let her know how much I loved her, and appreciated the love she showed me and my children.

I think back to the first time I met your Mom and even though she wouldn’t give me her Christmas tree, she welcomed me without any hesitation or reservations.
I know it’s been a long journey and your Mom had suffered often and for a long time but what is comforting to know is that her journey is different now – she is at peace and with the Lord. She no longer has to suffer with the pains and the cares of this world.
And although she has left this physical world, her spirit will still remain with you and your family.
May God continue to uplift you (and your family) and may He continue to bless you with all of the things you will need during this time and afterwards.
