On Wednesday, September 22, 2021, our heavenly father opened the gates and welcomed his angel, Bernice M. Turner, home. She departed this life at INOVA Alexandria Hospital in Alexandria, VA. Family and friends will celebrate her life on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. The visitation will be from 9:30am until the time of service at 10:30am at Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home, 2294 Old Washington Rd, Waldorf, MD 20601. The interment will follow at Lincoln Cemetery in Suitland, MD.
My Grandmother, Bernice M (Coghill) Turner, my rock & foundation, lived a blessed, joyful and prosperous 98 years. Her purpose has been fulfilled and her journey has ended. She has been called to that heavenly home where she will be placed upon her throne and dwell amongst the lord and those who preceded her. It will be a grand celebration.

10 years ago God had plans for me to become a care giver to this hip, fiesty, beautiful senior. These 10 years I’ve learned so much about you. I’m so honored to have been chosen for this journey.
