BENNY BROWN, JR. Affectionately known as “Boon” departed this life on May 1, 2013 in Washington, DC. Son of the late Annie Mae Brown and Benny Brown, Sr.; loving husband of 42 years of Bobbie J. Brown. He also leaves two children, Stacy Andre Brown (Terry) and Kimberly Brown; two grandchildren, Erin and Shane Brown; a brother Willie Lee Brown; a sister, Mary L. Brown, and a host of other relatives and friends. Family will unite on Friday, May 10 with visitation from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m. at Hemingway Memorial AME Church, 6330 Gateway Blvd., District Heights, MD.
