I am so sorry to the Butts Family for their loss. Sergeant Butts, was a truly wonderful individual. He made my years with the Metropolitan Police Department enjoyable. He liked to laugh. He was a mentor for many of us. It certainly was my pleasure to know such a fine man. I will miss him. I salute, Sergeant Arthur Butts. Former MPD Officer Todd Mattingly
The Baker Family truly mourns the loss of Butts, our brother, neighbor and very good friend. He had the brightest smile and was genuinely a great person. He was the best friend and confidant anyone could ever ask for. We thank god for placing Butts in our lives for over 13+ years. Words can’t express how deeply we will miss him. We will always love you Butts.
To the Butts family – may our Lord and Saviour comfort and keep you doing this time. My baby brother and close friend, may you rest at HIS feet until we meet again. We will miss and love you always – Karen, Lauren and Louis Pugh
I am deeply saddened by the loss of Butts, our brother, neighbor and good friend. I have never met anyone so kind, so giving. I thank god for placing Butts in our lives for over the 13+ years that we were neighbors and for 20+ years as co-workers. Rest in peace Butts and we truly love you.

You don’t meet many people as kind, loving, generous and pleasant as Arthur was. He will be truly missed by many but loved by all.

My deepest sympathies to the Butts Family. I knew Butts as a teenager, he was a kind and caring person. He will truly be missed.
