
Anna Gertrude Neal-Brown, 85, of Mechanicsville, MD, entered into eternal rest on November 15, 2016. She was born in Dentsville, MD on March 23, 1931, to the late Mary Theresa Boarman-Neale and Joseph Sidney Neale. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Leroy Brown; daughter, Anna Reed; granddaughter, Daphne Brown; grandson, Christopher Reed; brothers, Charles, Joseph, Clinton, James (Gabby), Sidney (Big Sid); sisters, Alice Woodland, Mary Plater and Elsie Hawkins. She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Mary Reed and Dorothy Dorsey; sons, James Jr. and Joseph Brown, 13 grandchildren, special friend, James Hawkins, 30 great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. Family and friends will unite on Wednesday, November 23 for visitation at 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Bryantown Catholic Church, 13715 Notre Dame Pl., Bryantown, MD 20617.
