Peacefully on Thursday, October 25, 2018, Allen Ray Hall departed this earthly life in Hardwood, MD. Family and friends will unite on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from 12:00pm until time of Life Celebration 1:00pm at Hillcrest Baptist Church 2201 Iverson Street, Temple Hills, MD. Interment will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 at Haiti Cemetery in Trenton, NC.
Dear family and friends of Mr. Hall sorry to hear of your loss. May you be comforted in knowing that God is close to those who are brokenhearted and comforts all who mourn. (Isaiah 61:1,2) May God comfort you and give you peace and the strength to cope during this time of deep sorrow.

Please accept our condolences; your husband and our friend will be missed by all. I met Al in Geneva, Switzerland while we were both playing basketball in 1975. Al was funny, full of energy, and genuine. It wasn’t until 2009 that we were able to meet at your home for a few days. Once again, even after 30 plus years, Al was still high energy, loads of laughter, and without question, a man with a story to tell. Thank you April for that magical time together; Ananyr remembers it so well.
No doubt, Allen Hall made many people smile; I shed a tear for my dear friend…

Nothing can fully prepare us for the loss of a parent, a spouse, or a child. A tragedy may strike unexpectedly or unfold relentlessly. Whatever the case, the pain of death cannot be eluded, and its finality can be devastating.
Its not easy to lose a love one. It is comforting to know we are not alone. God may allow it, but he makes a way out for us to endure it. We can find comfort in his word the Bible.
We can believe and have comfort, we serve a God who cares 1:Peter 5:7. So throw your burdens on God, because he will help you cope through prayer. He says at Revelation 21:3&4 that all the things such as suffering, pain, and death will be things of the pass.
