
Alice Pauline Baker, 97 departed this life to be with the Lord on March 29, 2020 at home with her family by her side. Pauline was known as Flossie to her family and friends. Pauline was born on November 13, 1922 in Budd’s Creek, Maryland to the late James Andrew Bush and Marie Tolbert Bush.She received her education in the St. Mary’s County Public School System. Pauline met and married the late Robert Q. Baker, Sr. and was married 47 years and from this union they had 9 children. She prided herself as being a housewife and a mother. She also raised 3 grandchildren. She loved to cook and have family over for Sunday and Holiday dinners.She attended the Catholic Church in St. Mary’s County until the late 1970s when she excepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and attended church regularly.She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Marie Bush; her husband, Robert Q. Baker, Sr.; son, James Andrew Baker; siblings, Arline Bush, Helen Cole, William Benny Bush, James Andrew Bush, Jr., Anna Louise Baker, Marie Carter, Leroy Bush and Cleveland Fenwick.Pauline leaves to cherish her memories her loving children, Theresa Maddox (John), Paulette, Robert Q., Jr. (Linda), Agnes, Marie, Lewis (Denise), Charles and Pamela Baker; 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren; siblings, Della Smith (Robert), Thomas, Clarence, George and John Bush, Clarise Young and Margaret Moore; one brother-in-law, David Baker; one sister-in-law, Lorraine Baker; and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.You may contact the family via email at lindabobbaker@gmail.com or by leaving a message on the website guest book.
