ABRAHAM SIMMONS, JR. “Leroy” On Friday, September 2, 2016, Abraham Simmons, Jr. passed away at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his loving children, Phyllis Sherrod, Shirley, Wanda and Shelvy Simmons; two brothers, Alonzo and Jesse Simmons, two grandchildren, William Sherrod, III and Brandon Simmons; two great-grandchildren, Gabrielle and Willow Sherrod and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Cora and his daughter, Renee.
